Our childbirth classes incorporate tools from many different methods of childbirth education, such as: Lamaze, Bradley, Hypnobirth and Birthing from Within. Based on the biodynamic philosophy developed by Birthingway in Portland, OR, the classes are individualized to each family. Classes provide a safe space for families to explore fears and hopes about the growth of their families, while emphasizing the strengths of each couple and the family they are creating. Community building is a main focus of the classes, so that everyone can be supported on this shared journey to parenthood. Educational tools include the use of artwork, group and partner discussions, games, videos and free writing.
