Hi, my name is Abigail Barella.
I have been in love with babies and the birth process since early childhood.
I have worked professionally with families for over twelve years as a nanny and post-partum doula. I learned the most about working with families from the birth of my own daughter, Zurie Iris, in 2006.
It is my belief that pregnancy and birth are perfect opportunities for people to learn more about themselves and to tune in to their own parenting instincts.
I am certified in biodynamic childbirth preparation by Birthingway College in Portland, OR. I am also trained by ICTC as a labor support doula. I enjoy cooking and watching things grow. I feel very satisfied making things from scratch and I love spending time with my family.
